I have been freelance photographer for the past 25 years (freelance meaning that I don't work for any particular company or studio), and started with portrait photography of people.. just like most other photographers.

Since I was a child, I was always curious about cameras (my uncle might still be looking for missing parts of his beloved Pentax at the time..), and like many others - I love pets.

So quick fast forward.. I took classes and lessons from some well known and world famous photographers, both one-on-one and in bigger seminars to learn and learn little bit more about photography. 

I soon noticed a big difference in photographs of pets taken by different "people" photographers, that something special they brought in on gorgeous wedding pictures just didn't come out on pictures of pets. Simply because good pictures of pets can't be captured the same as of people. Pets won't behave by command as people do.. good pictures need  different kind of a connection between photographer and a pet. Most often extra creativity can be useful as well.

That's why I call my pet photography album "pet expressions", I always look for that special moment, that little blink of an eye, that very particular expression so much loved by the owner, to capture in a picture and save that memory forever. 

So many customers come back year after year, Christmas cards, portraits, mugs, calendars..even wedding invitations. Most emotional sessions are always the ones when pet parent knows that time to part has come close and know that it is the time to take pictures and capture those last memories together. Every time parent has been so glad after the rainbow bridge has been crossed, that they have those memories to cherish and bring comfort. I strongly recommend every pet parent of a senior pet to take or have as many pictures taken as possible. 

Regardless that I am specialized in pet photography, I, of course do take other assignments as well so feel free to contact me on your photography needs. Soft spots on classic cars and motorcycles (cards, posters, calendars etc.), profile pictures and so on.
